Khaliat al nahal ( cheese filled honey comb bread)

image

Well I was dying to punch something so dough making was the only option. Khaliat al nahal requires adequate kneading for soft feathery bread. Khaliat al nahal literally means honey comb. It is a soft pull apart bread traditionally filled with cheese triangles pieces as is common in Muscat. And soaked in sugar honey saffron syrup. Its made with instant yeast is not very messy. Almost as easy as chappathi dough except for the raising time.
